PRIVACY POLICY NOTICE OF MARCOTTE FORD SALES, INC.

Massachusetts automobile dealers, as providers of finance, lease, and insurance services, are now required by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act to inform their customers of their policies regarding privacy of personal identifying customer information. Our dealership understands your concerns for privacy and the need to ensure the privacy of all of your information. The purpose of this notice is to explain the privacy policy of Marcotte Ford Sales, Inc. with regard to personal information about you that we obtain and how we keep that information secure.

NON PUBLIC PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect non public information about you that is provided to us by you or obtained by us with your authorization or from others. We collect information about you that is necessary to our automobile dealership relationship with you and we use it for that purpose only. We do not disclose any non public personal information about you to any affiliated or non affiliated third parties, except as provided by law. We do not sell or otherwise share your information with anyone outside our agency for marketing purposes.

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
The information we collect concerning your relationship with our dealership may include the following:
- information received from you on your application for finance, lease, or insurance and other related forms
- information about your transactions with us, our affiliates or others
- information received from the Registry of Motor Vehicles
- information we may receive from a consumer-reporting agency for the purpose of writing or rating your finance request
- finance, lease, and insurance personal identifying information

CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY
We treat your information in a confidential manner. We do not disclose any non public personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone except as permitted by law.
Our employees and representatives who act in our behalf are required to protect the confidentiality of information. Our employees and representatives may access information only when there is an appropriate reason to do so and for the administration of our products. We also maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect information.
Upon your written request, we will make available information for your review. We have established procedures for you to review your information and if inaccurate, we will correct our records.

FOR YOUR OWN PROTECTION
There are certain steps that you can take to protect your privacy.
- Be very cautious about giving out personal information such as your credit card numbers or Social Security number over the phone.
- Be very cautious about opening e-mail from an unknown party.
- Be certain not to divulge your passwords or personal identification numbers (PINs). Please do not write your PIN on your ATM or debit card.
- Be cautious about providing personal information such as your credit card number to order online unless the site is secure.
- Be conscientious about your records and receipts. Be sure to tear up or shred records that you are discarding.
