A potential CPO model must score well through the entire test. It can't have significant damage. Our Blue Certified Ford models can include vehicles with under 120,000 miles that are no older than 10 years. These pre-owned Ford vehicles must then pass a rigorous 139-point inspection. Those that meet this standard receive a 90-day/4,000-mile warranty and come with 24-hour roadside assistance during the warranty period.
The bar for our Gold Certified vehicles is at an even higher level, and so are the rewards. For the Gold level, we start with pre-owned Ford models that are no older than 6 years and have under 80,000 miles on the odometer. These very elite vehicles then get a comprehensive limited warranty covering numerous parts for 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first. But that's not all they get.
Our Gold Certified pre-owned Ford models come with an amazing limited powertrain warranty for 7 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. That's better than you can get on most new cars.
