What's New for the 2023 Ford F-150?

As with previous model years for the F-150, the 2023 version is a highly customizable truck that puts Agawam and Springfield, MA drivers in charge of how their vehicle looks, performs, and comes equipped. There are multiple powertrain and trim configurations to choose from and, new this year, a pulse-quickening, performance-enhanced model joins the lineup.

You're probably already familiar with the beastly Ford F-150 Raptor, a capable machine that West Springfield, MA drivers turn to when they want something that quickens the pulse and makes every turn more exciting. Now, get ready to meet the new, 2023 Ford F-150 Raptor R.

The F-150 Raptor R joins the lineup as a brand-new option this year, and it comes powered by a supercharged V8 engine, which produces 700 horsepower and 640 pound-feet of torque. It takes its place as the top-of-the line trim for the F-150 and it comes identically equipped to the original Raptor model, with one exception. The Raptor R gets 37-inch tires standard, whereas these tires are listed only as options on the original Raptor.

In addition to this exhilarating new trim and engine joining the F-150 collection in 2023, other noteworthy changes include two new optional packages - the Rattler Package and the Heritage Edition Package. Both give Chicopee, MA drivers even more options they can request to personalize this impressive truck even further.

Power and Performance

The addition of the new Raptor R and it's unique powertrain helps bring the number of engine options available for the 2023 F-150 to seven. • A turbocharged 3.5-liter V6, delivering 400 horsepower with 500 pound-feet of torque
• A turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 that's exclusive to the F-150 Raptor model and produces 450 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque
• The newly added, Raptor R-specific, supercharged 5.2-liter V8, producing a robust output of 700 horsepower and 640 pound-feet of torque
• The hybrid F-150 model, equipped with a gas / electric, turbocharged 3.5-liter V6, which Ford calls its PowerBoost engine; producing 430 horsepower and 570 pound-feet of torque
