Ford’s electric vehicle lineup is practical, powerful, and thoughtfully engineered. At Marcotte Ford, we’ve built a process that helps buyers feel confident in their EV choice. We were one of the first dealerships in Massachusetts to install onsite charging stations. That early investment means our team is prepared to answer questions, guide new EV owners through the transition, and provide support long after the sale.
Massachusetts also offers the MOR-EV rebate, which provides up to $7,500 for qualifying F-150 Lightning buyers and $3,500 for eligible Mustang Mach-E purchases. These rebates are applied after the sale and are mailed directly to qualified buyers, tax-free.
Ford’s Electric Lineup
Ford currently offers three EV models:
Each Ford EV is built for everyday use, with strong performance and smart technology. Across all models, you’ll get long range (up to 320 miles), solid build quality (no flimsy interiors or screen-only controls), and features that make driving easier. BlueCruise, Ford’s hands-free driving system, comes standard across the lineup. You’ll also find solid build quality and real comfort behind the wheel, especially in the Mach-E and Lightning, which deliver a quiet, smooth ride.
Ford has kept EV pricing competitive, especially in the truck category, and backs it with real support through programs like PowerPromise and strong lease incentives.
A Familiar Buying Experience
Purchasing an EV at Marcotte is much like buying a traditional vehicle. The difference lies in the level of guidance we provide around daily use. We walk each customer through the FordPass app, which connects to Ford’s BlueOval Charge Network to make charging simple by mapping nearby stations, showing available chargers in real time, and handling payment through a connected account.
Before you leave, we review how charging works, what to know about range, and what setup you may need at home. And if questions come up later, we’re here to help.
Charging Access
Marcotte Ford has two Level 3 fast chargers and three Level 2 chargers onsite, open to the public and listed in GPS apps, FordPass, and ChargePoint. A Level 3 charger can bring an F-150 Lightning to 80% in about 30 minutes and a Mach-E in about 40 minutes.
Through FordPass, you can access over 20,000 charging stations nationwide. Your navigation system can also route you directly to a station when needed, reducing concerns about running low on charge.
Simple At-Home Charging
Through the Ford PowerUp program, customers who purchase a qualifying Ford EV may be eligible for credit toward the installation of a Level 2 home charger. With a proper setup, most vehicles will be fully charged overnight and ready to go by morning.
We’ll explain the program and help you connect with your electrician, who can determine if your home’s panel is set up for a Level 2 charger. Once confirmed, we’ll guide you through the next steps for enrollment and installation.
Certified EV Service
Marcotte’s service team includes master technicians who are trained and certified to service EV batteries and systems. Routine maintenance for EVs is minimal, mainly tire rotations and cabin filter changes with no need for oil changes or the more complex maintenance schedules that come with combustion engines.
Because many buyers are new to electric vehicles, we take extra time to review expectations, make personalized recommendations, and stay available for follow-up questions when they come up.
Finding the Right EV
Marcotte Ford offers a mix of in-stock EVs and factory-ordered builds. In-stock vehicles are available right away, while custom orders typically arrive within 2-3 months. Ordering allows you to select the features and range that best suit your needs.
Our team will also review available state incentives like the MOR-EV rebate to ensure you’re getting the most value from your purchase. We’re here to explain your options and help you find the EV that fits your lifestyle.
