Ford’s Blue Advantage program includes three types of certification: Gold, Blue, and EV. Each one includes a multi-point inspection, a factory-backed warranty, 24/7 roadside assistance, and FordPass reward points. The specifics vary, but every certified vehicle must meet certain age and mileage limits and pass a detailed review before it qualifies.
That’s where our approach takes it further than meeting the minimum goal.
Take tires, for example. Ford’s standard calls for replacement when tread depth reaches 5mm. At Marcotte, we replace them at 6mm, or sooner if we see uneven wear. We also make sure the replacements are high-quality and appropriate for the vehicle, not a bare-minimum option to cut corners.
We follow the same logic with brakes. Ford requires replacement below 50%. At Marcotte Ford, we won’t sign off unless they’re at 70% or higher.
