Our partner Brake & Clutch in Salem is a Ford bailment pool that receives chassis directly from Ford and builds the body you need, which speeds allocation and delivery.

We also work with partners that focus on different equipment, so a Super Duty dump or landscape body goes to a different shop than interior shelving. If one partner is three to four weeks out, another may have space next week. If you prefer a specific brand, we route the job to a distributor that stocks it.

From there, choose general trades, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or courier packages, or go à la carte with shelving in multiple lengths, widths, and depths. For medium and high roofs, drop-down ladder racks help with safer loading in winter conditions. We usually recommend higher-grade systems for shelves that see 150–200 pounds daily use.

Chassis Cab Solutions

For F-Series chassis, we coordinate dumps, platforms, landscape bodies, toolboxes, and plows. If a truck fails mid-season, we can place a work-ready unit immediately and still tailor details through our partner network.

Specialty Builds

Refrigerated vans: We order the Transit, coordinate spray-in insulation, then install a Thermo King unit. We stock a limited number for urgent needs and can move larger routes to an F-650 box when required.

Accessibility and student transport: Lifts or ramps, seating reconfiguration, school signage, and the state-required rear buzzer for no-child-left-behind checks.

Most Ford chassis include modern driver-assist features. We always spec a cab-to-cargo safety partition on vans, and we use ergonomic drop-down ladder racks where roof height demands it.

Factory Packages vs Partner Upfits

Ford can ship a van to a factory-adjacent installer for a generic package, but that path adds time and limits customization. Most commercial buyers prefer our partner route for faster turnaround, brand choice, and easier support after delivery.
